The brothers and sisters of Delta Epsilon Mu are committed to serving the community by advocating health education and care and through active participation in service activities, fundraising, and outreach programs in addition to uniting students of diverse backgrounds with interest in the varying health fields through leadership, professional development, and brotherhood. Members are given the opportunity to directly participate in health-oriented workshops and discussions, thereby attaining access to pertinent academic and career information through association with professors, advisors, career professionals, alumni members, and fellow active members.

THE PRESIDENT
Delta Epsilon Mu is the nation’s premier professional pre-health co-ed fraternity. Founded in 1996, Delta Epsilon Mu provides an inclusive and supportive resource for pre-health students and unites like-minded individuals across various health fields through health education and service activities.
The Alpha Lambda Chapter of Delta Epsilon Mu at UC San Diego aims to help every member grow professionally and personally through our four pillars: Loyalty, Dedication, Friendship, and Support. Every individual experiences their own journey while pursuing a career in the health field, but with the friendships established through this community, nobody has to walk the path alone.
The Alpha Lambda Chapter prides itself in working collectively to give back to the community through philanthropic events and fundraising. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of a fraternity that understands that the healthcare field is bigger than any one individual.
The journey of pursuing a healthcare career can be extremely daunting, but I am forever grateful for this community of motivated individuals that push me to be the best version of myself. This fraternity has given me a space to learn, grow, and reflect about where I am in my career. I’ve met so many individuals that have given me love, support, and guidance, and ultimately have become some of my closest friends.

I just completed my clinical rotations and I’m now in my dedicated period studying for the two big board exams, STEP1 and STEP2. I recently published a first author paper (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37638120/) and also presented my other research projects at the latest American Society of Anesthesiologists conference!
