WHO WE ARE
We are the UC San Diego chapter of the nation’s premiere pre-health professional fraternity, Delta Epsilon Mu. DEM integrates health-specific professional aspirations, social camaraderie, and educational enrichment of its members and community. The brothers and sisters of Delta Epsilon Mu work on various philanthropic projects, develop professional skills, and participate in social activities to foster what we fondly call our DEM Family.

CHAPTER HISTORY
Delta Epsilon Mu, Inc. was founded in 1996 at Binghamton University in New York. As a professional organization, DEM integrates professional aspirations, specifically in the health-related fields, social camaraderie, and educational enrichment of its members and community. The brothers and sisters of Delta Epsilon Mu work year-long on various philanthropic projects, professional development, and social bond-building activities to foster what we fondly term our DEM Family.
The Alpha Lambda (AΛ) chapter at the University of California, San Diego was officially established under guidance from both the national authority and the Alpha Theta (AΘ) Chapter as the 29th formal chapter of Delta Epsilon Mu on May 13th, 2017 by the 16 founding members.
