Annie joined DEM in hopes of finding mentorships and inspiration for what healthcare field she wished to pursue. Coming in as a third year, Annie was unsure of which career was right for her and so she believed joining DEM would serve as a great community for her to find more clarity. Ever since joining DEM, Annie has learned from many passionate members the importance of finding a good balance between working hard towards a career goal as well as making time for oneself. Despite having many different career aspirations leading up, Annie has found that she aspires to become an emergency medicine physician assistant. In her free time, Annie enjoys lifting weights, going on hikes, and cooking with friends.
