Emily joined Delta Epsilon Mu to expand her knowledge on other pre-health professions and sought to build new relationships socially and professionally at UCSD. Since then, she has gained a new perspective on the different opportunities she can achieve through healthcare. Additionally, she found a group of individuals that she can confidently consider as brothers and sisters. Emily is currently on a pre-nursing track and aspires to one day work in the NICU as a neonatal nurse to care for infants during the first critical months of their lives. Aside from her focus on healthcare, Emily spends her free time watching shows on Netflix and exploring new viewpoints.
