What encouraged Jacline to join DEM was its vision of building a strong community of students passionate about making an impact in healthcare. She aims to become a healthcare provider that can enact positive change in the lives of individual patients, while also systemically empowering underserved communities as a whole. In her free time, Jacline enjoys practicing self-care through books and face masks, seeing her favorite artists live in concert, and fueling herself with (a lot of) iced coffee.
