Jenny originally wanted to join DEM because she thought it would be a great opportunity to make connections and meet other students who were as motivated and passionate about healthcare as she is. Since joining DEM, she has gained a special group of people she can call her friends and family who both support and encourage her to reach my goals. She has gained professional skills as well as personal growth through DEM. In the future, she hopes to gain more experience in a clinical setting and eventually apply to a graduate school. She would love to work in a hospital and hopefully create positive impacts in her community and the people around her. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and sharing food as a way to connect to my family’s roots and to her friends’ cultures. She also enjoys going thrifting and attempting thrift flips to explore my creative side and support sustainable fashion. If she has a lot of free time, she likes to learn new skills such as playing the guitar :)
