Kristina chose to join DEM to expand her professional and social networks at UCSD. Since joining DEM, she has learned a lot from other members about their insights on the medical field, and has reaffirmed her passion for healthcare. She aims to go to medical school after graduating in 2021 in order to carry out her dreams of becoming a physician, and is currently interested in cardiology as a specialty. In addition to medicine, she is also passionate about music, and enjoys singing and finding new music in her spare time.
