Dragonfly Forest is a nonprofit organization providing overnight camping experiences for children with autism and other medical needs. Designed to provide a unique educational environment, Dragonfly Forest allowed 91.2% of campers in a recent study to realize they had many talents throughout their time at the camp. The camp's primary goal is to help each child to feel like a regular kid. Delta Epsilon Mu and Dragonfly Forest started a medical internship program in Summer 2016 available to members of the fraternity.
Dragonfly Forest, Inc. was founded in 2002 and held their first camp in 2006. Dragonfly Forest serves over 400 campers per year. The camp is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States, and its office is located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Partial funding can be attributed to the Annual Community Clothes Charity sale, which donates its profits to the camp.

RARE Science is a non-profit research-driven organization that focuses on accelerating identification of more immediate therapeutic solutions for kids with rare diseases, potentially through repurposing currently approved drugs and other therapeutic approaches.
The organization works directly with patient-families and empowers them with the right resources and tools to become informed, properly diagnosed, and begin treatment for such diseases. The RARE Science team is made up of volunteer scientists and executives with background in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as geneticists and other experienced medical personnel.
Our members have taken part in the RARE Bear making program, in which RARE Bears are gifted to RARE kids as sources of comfort!

SURGICAL GIFTS
Fresh Start Surgical Gifts is a San Diego regional non-profit organization that works to transform the lives of disadvantaged infants, children, and teens with physical deformities caused by birth, accidents, abuse, or disease through gifts of long-term reconstructive surgery and ongoing care. While based in San Diego, their gifts and outreach extend internationally and are powered by committed teams of volunteer medical personnel.
Fresh Start also hosts a variety of community events, in which our members attend and volunteer for. Fresh Start hosts these gift surgeries on Fresh Start Surgical Weekends, which our members are fortunate enough to have been extended invitation to.
