Kayla joined DEM in hopes of sharing the same passion in healthcare with other like-minded individuals. She wanted to also make new and close relationships to the other members in order to create a community that will help her reach her goals in life. Ever since Kayla has joined DEM, she has learned so much in developing a more professional persona and has been given more insight to other pre-health careers from her peers. Kayla aspires to go on to become a Pediatric Nurse because of the need to help others and hopefully make them as happy as she is. In her free time, Kayla likes to read books, play volleyball, and hang out with friends and family.
